The Art of Decyphering a Relationship Puzzle

So today me and a few friends went to Pot Black. It was pretty fun, but more fun than what we first thought it would be.

We hired a table near the end of the store, and started playing our game. next to us was a table, with two asian girls, one asian boy, and one white boy. My friend immediatly thought that they were on a double date. (I dont know why he brought that up.) But my other friend disagreed.

Suddenly all four of us were into it, trying to decypher the puzzle which was the relationship between these 4 people at the next table. We were really into it.

After lots of discussion within ourselves (while playing pool), we decided that the lone asian guy was trying unsuccesfully to get "with" one of the asian girls, and brought along his Aussie mate as a decoy. WE came to this conclusion because:

Firstly, the two boys were playing pool, with the two other girls just watching, and texting.

Secondly; the two boys were completely ignoring the girls.

Thirdly: The Asian guy was a bit TOO smiley and loud. As if he was trying to impress the girls with his wit and humor.

Finally this merry group of friends finished their game. the four of us guys watched them as they left the bulding. It turned out that the asian boy was going out with one of the girls. (We didnt ask them, but it became pretty obvious soon enough.)

Well, there you go. Never try to de-cypher the puzzle of a relationship of two you know nothing about. It just ends up with a big massive FAIL. But still, it was fun trying to be Dr Phil. xDD
